Re: Good playgrounds in or around Bay Shore area
Well we go to 2 places off of main st.
1- Brookwood hall. It's not Bay Shore but close to it. It' s off of Irish lane. They have ducks there, swings and a playground.
2- Gardners park (Brightwater/west Islip) It's on the left hand side of main st headed west. I love the trail that leads to the water and we watch all the doggies swim. It's the cutest thing. There is a playground in the beginning before the trail.
Then of course there are all the elementary playgrounds in Bay Shore.

Hi. We like Gardner's Park too. There is also a small playground in Brightwaters on Windsor Avenue. I thought that there was a pretty big playground at the end of Clinton Avenue (I think that is where the YMCA is) - but we have not been there yet!
