Literally at this point, I hate everyone and everything about this job. Every little nuance gets on my nerves. The idiocy of the people working here, the lack of basic comprehension skills of our clients...I feel like I'm ready to BLOW!!! I wish I had just given a week's notice instead of trying to be the nice guy and giving them three...I feel like it's groundhog day EVERY day with the same idiots asking the same stupid questions

Yep been there and done that. I could not wait to blow that popsicle stand. It was pure torture for my 3 weeks notice I gave. I also hated everyone in my dept and couldn't take being picked on and ridiculed so I left after 2 weeks. Basically told them where to go and started my new job earlier than expected.
Just think soon you will have a job that you will enjoy and hopefully the people will be even nicer. Hang in there.

On my last day, I got back from my 'farewell lunch' - sat at my desk for a half hour, stared at the wall and just got SO pizzed off. I sat there till 1:30 just sitting there watching the clock tick away.
I stood up, grabbed my laptop, phone and password lists - walked into my bosses office, threw it all on his desk and walked out; only said goodbye to 2 or 3 people.
What were they going to do - dock me for 4 hours? B1te me.

I think when people give notice they officiall "checked out" already and everything that might have annoyed you or the reason(s) why you left are even more unbearable. You usually cannot wait to leave.
I cannot believe you gave 3 weeks notice. I usually give 2 which is the norm.
