BHCG
Well saturday i woke up with my boobs hurting, face breaking out, uti, back hurting I thought i was preggo so i tested and BFN. So I had to make an appt at dr for an antibotic and they took a bhcg the test came back at 6, i wasnt even at 3 weeks since last AF it was maybe 20 days. Well I called my ob and she said that i was pregnant by not even a day.
Im worried that im not, ive take 4 hpt and all bfn and period isnt due until tuesday and my ob schedule me to come in on the 25th (long time away)
wht do you think?

The blood tests are the most accurate so even if the hpt is negative you've had a positive blood test and thats very reliable. The hpt's detect higher levels of the hcg and the earliest you can test positive on them is 4 days before a missed period.

i would be cautious if you haven't gotten a positive HPT yet and the beta was only 6. it could very well be a positive, strong pregnancy, but it could also be a chemical. there is no way to know unless you wait a few more days.

oh its not a chemical becuz i have morning sickness, boobs hurt, every morning i get so neasous, with a chemical you dont get symptoms, it like you didnt even know your pregnant. Plus it on a hpt that its pos and then beta comes back neg that is a chemical i just read up on it.
thanks for you concern though. Its to early to show on hpt until tuesday

Stay postiive but I have to say a chemical is possible. I unfortunately have had a chemical pregnancy and have had some symptoms. My HPT was positive and my beta was positive howver a low number. Wishing you the best! It could just be an early pregnancy.

Why don't you take a FRER? If your Beta was 6, two days later it should be about a 12 which is generally detectable on a FRER. If it doesn't show up on there, wait two more days and try again.

that is not true actually. you can get symptoms with a chemical, and you can also get a positive beta and a negative HPT, or even a positive on both, and still have it be a chemical. a chemical only means an early miscarriage (before 6 weeks).
i would be hopeful, yet cautious.  are you going back for another beta?

Could it be that you are just making up your symptoms because you want so badly to be pg? That has been known to happen. I hope it all works out for you, but I can't imagine why any Dr. would test your hcg and then not have you come back to see if the measurement has gone up after a few days or even before you missed AF.
