I wasn't put on bedrest - toward the end i was told to "take it easy".
But, i do think that a lot of women do get put on bedrest for varying reasons.
With twins there is always a risk of pre-term labor, so taking it easy is really par for the course.

I was never put on bedrest but around 31 weeks, all I wanted to do was lay on the couch.

I was never put on bed rest but I was told to stop working and stop having sex at 32 weeks and to take it easy. By then I really needed to rest anyway.

No bed rest for me. And I was pumpkin picking at 36 weeks. Your body has a way of telling you what you can or can't do.

I went on bed rest at 30 weeks. I had premature contractions.

I was put on modified bedrest at home at weeks 28 because of my cervix shortening. I am now 33 weeks with no change and just waiting for July 30th for my Csection

I was put on strict hospital bedrest at 26 weeks due to preterm labor... I delivered at just over 33 weeks and the babies only spent a week in the NICU and were breathing and eating on their own as soon as they were born.
