We were at the supermarket the other day and this kid wouldn't stop screaming. I kept wincing from the piercing noise  I turned to DH and was like "yeeeaaah, this is when I realize I'm definitely not ready for kids"

Definitely during the movies.. and ESP teenagers this weekend at Harry Potter.. If I didn't love the books so much, I would have held off on seeing the movie for a couple of weeks.. I am dreading the screaming teenagers

That is why DH and I always pay extra for the Directors Hall at the Island 16 Holtsville movie theatre..most parents aren't willing to pay the premium price for kids.

I get that a lot at the supermarket and at Target. It goes through me like a knife.

I was at a party this weekend at a restaurant. One of the parents sat the kid down at a plate of food, with the metal fork and left.
So the kid proceeded not to feed itself, but to bang the fork on the plate consistently for 15 straight minutes. I've never heard the words 'plastic fork' muttered so many times in such a small amount of time.
