Atlantique Beach
We just bought a new boat & want o head over there for a day. Just curious what it is like? What they have? Price to dock? Opinions?

All of Fire Island is wonderful, magical, amazing. I have heard about the docking in Atlantique and all I can tell you is that anyone I know who has a boat and has done it once has gone back many times!!!!! Have fun! There should be some information online. I have some Fire Island websites bookmarked and I will let you know if I see anything about Atlantique.

It's nice there - a family friendly place. Not much there but the marina & beach. You have to be a town of islip resident (the boat has to be registered to the resident, too) and it's first come, first served, so you don't always get a slip there.

LOVE IT THERE! I started going when I was a child, now bringing my gs. There are slips for docking (resident & non resident fees), or if you just want to anchor off the dock that’s fine too (MUST use bow & stern anchors). Playground, basketball & handball courts available. Three br stations, 2 shower stations. Basic snack bar - food is good and prices are reasonable. Extremely family oriented beach - left wallets out with no one touching them. Just have to watch your food with the deer. If it’s not inside a cooler they will try to take it. Short walks to Ocean Beach and Saltaire. ENJOY!
