Something someone said to me that only you ladies may laugh at.....
So at work today i went to a house to help an older lady who was ill...i was trying to talk about stuff while we waited for the ambulance to help keep her calm...i mentioned my DH...she asked "Do you have any children"...so i replied "No ma'am i do not...nor do i plan on having any"...she says "Good...keep it that way...children ruin marriages!!"...i almost laughed out loud  (disclaimer: i do not think this is true..but it still made me laugh)

they might not break up marriages they certainly dont bring ones that are in trouble together. Too many people have children thinking this will help the marriage....

thanks...it's part of my job..
And no...i don't think kids ruin marriages either...my brother has 3 and a great marriage...but he also picked a great wife!

That is awesome to hear from an older lady- because usually they are the ones who are telling you that you NEED to have kids to be a whole person etc.... 
This was a refreshing change!
