Bars in Babylon?
Hi all,
It is my little sister's 21st birthday today and I wanted to take her out for her 1st legal cocktail. However, I''m not a big "Go to the bar" kind of person, so I don't really know any places. Can anyone recommend a decent bar in Babylon Village that has a nice atmosphere, somewhat casual?

Post Office Cafe...
Flanagan's is too meathead-ish for me, Mary Carroll's is OK - but prob not where sh'd want to spend her 21st, Carriage House is an older crowd.

DH and his coworkers go to the Post Office. It's in the village. I have never been, it from what I've heard it is a good place (with great dour apple martinis lol).

Post Office is great -- but if you do on the wknd - be prepared for a lot of people squished together in the bar area.
If you go during happy hour, on a weekday, its a great way to have a few drinks and cheap appetizers.

The Post Office is good, and down the street (walking distance), Horace and Sylvia's and Argyle Grill are next door to each other and have nice bar areas.
