I really miss my mom
I feel like everything is starting to catch up with me, finally, almost 2 months after she died. At first, it was almost a relief after seeing her suffer so much and for so long. But I'm starting to forget how bad things were at the end and I keep having random flashbacks of her from when she was healthy.
I am so sad that she will never meet her future grandchild and I wonder sometimes if I was crazy getting pregnant so soon. I dont know how I can get thru a pregnancy without her help, advice and without her just being there when I need her to be.
I feel lost and I feel like there is a part of me missing that will be gone forever.

I know how you feel.
There are things going on in my life now...good and not so good...and I want to pick up the phone and hear my Mom's voice...and at the end of the conversation, I want to hear her say "I love you"...like she always did.

This is how I feel as well! My mom passed away in December.
I was already pregnant.
Everytime I look at my DD I think of my mom.
I have been thinking about her so much lately.
Actually told DH yesterday "Hun, guess what? I had a dream about mom"..
I was sooo excited she was in my dream and looked beautiful..Very healthy and happy!
I wish the dream was real. I keep thinking I'd do anything to get her back and then I know she's not suffering anymore, so, I feel like I'm being a bit selfish for even saying that.
So many up and down feelings.

i'm sorry that you are gonig through this.
i lost my dad about 16 months ago and I miss him terribly too. one of the things that really pains me is that dh and i don't have kids yet and that my Dad will never know them or spend time with them here on this earth. 
it stinks. but, i really believe that my dad will always be around in spirit. and, i am going to do my best to make sure that i talk about my dad in a fashion that my kids feel like they know him.
i have a friend who lost her dad a few years before me prior to having kids. her little three year old has an amazing connection to her pop-pop and will carry hiis picture around. that makes me feel good

Oh I'm so sorry. I lost both of my parents, my mom, and my best friend died 10 years ago at the age of 60, to lung cancer. I lost my dad 5 years ago, to a rare form of leukemia. My mom was my best friend. For years i would go to pcick up the phone and call her. I miss her so much. she was my best friend. I had one baby when she was alive, but he was only a year and doesnt remember her at all. I had two DC after that and i cried for weeks after they were born, that i couldn't share motherhood with her. It's what i wanted and looked forward to my whole life, and i was totally cheated. All i can say is that she is with you, and she always will be in spirit. I talk to my mom sometimes when im alone. I know she knows how much i love her and miss her, and i know your mom does too.
I found out i was preg with DD the day before my dad died. I never got the chance to tell him.. i think he was the reason she is here. One life ends and a new one begins.. yourDC will be here for a reason..
you can't share motherhood with herl, but you can use her example as a way of mothering your baby, and ask yourself what would mom do. I know how hard it is.. there are no words to take away your pain.. I want to offer you lots of l and  if you ever want to talk, FM me. And best of luck!
And you know a part of me is gone forever, and i still sometimes feel lost without her.. but i know that my mom is always with me.
