Raffle prize ideas
We're planning our annual event at work and I'm drawing a blank for raffle prizes. Anyone have any good ideas for some cool things people would want to buy raffle tickets for?

ipod touch, blue ray dvd, gift cards for restaurants or stores, marriott has these cool gift cards you can buy on their site for dinner/overnight stays

The baskets were
Gardener basket
Pet basket
childrens basket
womens basket-soaps/candles/scents
Mens basket-movies/sports things
Frames basket
Candle basket
food certificate basket

Depends on the size of your raffle but here are some items we have done at my previous jobs in the past to bring people to buy those raffle.
- Round trip ticket airline ticket (domestic) for 2 people
- DVD
- GPS
- Small (17"-19") LCD TV
- day at the spay for 2 people
- Hotel night in NYC for 2 people
- GCs to restaurants, various denomination ($15 (like Starbucks) to $100 (like Ruthchris steakhouse))
- At work, 1 paid day off
We even broke it down into 2 raffles sometimes. More expense like $10 for the big items and $5 for the small prizes.
We even had local vendors to give the prizes (hotels, etc...)

DS's school did an aunction/raffle some of the baskets i can remember are:
various liquors
wines & cheese
sport games tix
'night out' movie tix/dinner/ice cream
spa gc
boys or girls toys
