JHS question!

Hi! So I had my hair JHS last Wednesday. I went to Hair Club IB...this was my 2nd time there. I really like it there. Anyway, my hair came out nice, but my hair is stiff near my part and a little underneath my hair. Has anyone ever had this??? I may have to wash it a few more times still...maybe it's the chemical? I was just wondering if anyone else ever had this. Thanks so much!!

Do you mean stiff like if you run your fingers over the stiffness it almost feels like a buzz cut?

Did they apply a root softener to your roots? They would have applied it after the scalp protector, then it goes on the root of your hair right before the JHS chemical is applied.

If they didn't use the root softener, you're probably feeling where the chemical was applied (since they don't go to your scalp.)

I dont think they put a root softener on. =( It does feel like you described. Do you think this goes away???

It may feel different as it starts to grow out. I'd call the salon and ask what to do about it...

I've never had that problem because my lady always uses the root softener, but a friend has had the problem (at a different salon)... I don't remember what happened with her hair though...

i get this every time. after i wash it a few times it goes away! only once my hair broke in a small patch where it was stiff.
