Those of you who were under an RE when were you released
to your regular OBGYN?
We had 1st sono today... saw the heartbeat... I am 5w3d... he told me to go to my OB next week for a sono. So I am released. Isnt that early?

yes, in my opinion its early....I wasnt released until week 8 (and we heard the heartbeat at week 6). At week 5 they told me to call the OB to line up sono for week 10

I was released at 8 weeks, but since my OB couldn't see me until 10 weeks, I asked to see my RE at 9 weeks also.
I think they wanted to see me to 8 weeks to wean me off of progesterone shots.

That seems early. I was not released until 9 weeks and I had my first ob-gyn appointed at the following week.

I was released when i was 7w2d. By that point I had seen the baby/HB 3 times and he said I was good to go

They released me at 7w4d, after my third sono. I started with the OB at 8 weeks. My RE had me call the OB a few weeks before they were ready to release me so I wouldn't have to wait for an appointment and could go right from one to the other without a lapse in care.

I was realeased at 7.5 weeks, once we heard the heartbeat. I think that's fine since you've heard the heartbeat now.

I was released at 9 weeks I believe.... IMO that is pretty early that you got released...

I was not released until 8 weeks & saw my OB at 9...I think 6w is very early. I would talk to your RE about it

Holy moly, I didn't know you saw the heartbeat! 
Being released that early does sound a bit different. I'd question them and just find out why.

I think it's early but if you have a sono at your ob's the following week, I guess it should be ok.
I was released after my 3rd ultrasound during week 7, once he actually heard the heartbeat.
Maybe you are being released because they confirmed the heartbeat.
Don't worry too much. Comgratulations on your pregnancy!

we would have been released at 6 weeks, 1 day after hearing the HBs - but we paid OOP to stay with the RE until 10 weeks.
