Congratulations!!! 7/30 is my bday too--a wonderful day!!!! I too was so happy to have delivered at Stony Brook with their NICU when my DS had to go--while you hope you never need it, it is so reassuring to know they are in the best hands! So glad he is home with you now!
We never got a hospital pic since DS was in the NICU.

We were pretty adamant about wanting hospital pics, so we asked the nurse in postpartum for the phone # of the photographer. I personally spoke with her and she went out of her way to go over there and get his pics. She took 8, but his IV is showing in most of them. Yet another example of everyone going above and beyond!

wanted to add: THOSE DELIVERING AT STONY BROOK, order a chocolate chip cookie off the menu at every meal. They're SOOOO GOOOOD.
