Traveling Teachers and storage

Other than those wheeled compartment things, what do you use for storage?

One of my classrooms is really the library storage room. 3 of the walls are covered in floor to ceiling book shelves (made clear for library use only), and the 4th has my desk. The room is very tiny and dominated by a conference table in the middle. I'd like to be able to keep some stuff in that room, but it needs to be discreet and out of the way.

Unfortunately, this will be my thrid year traveling in three different schools. In one case I had a small area in a room and I found that having the custodian or yourself put up shelves it helped alot. I also use a wheeling crate that I use for day to day supplies that can be easily stored under your desk area.

It is always a challenge but you will find creative ways to store your stuff. GL

I travel between three schools as well, but I have at least part of a classroom in each building. However, I also keep a lot at home because I hate when I need something and it's in a different building Chat Icon

Re: Traveling Teachers and storage

That's what drives me nuts too. Most of the stuff (text, files etc) is stored in one building, so if I want to use a set of books at the MS, I have to get them from the HS, walk downstairs, cross the street, carry them upstairs, and hope I remembered everything I needed. After I'm done, I have to bring everything back to the HS.

At least the buildings are super close. It stinks having to carry everything across the street, but if I drove all the way to the other building and realized I forgot something, I'd be sooooooooooo mad.
