oceanside school districts ?
can someone tell me which are the best school disticts in oceanside ? i was told 3 and 4 but others have told me 8. This is so confusing !

Everyone in Oceanside says a different number. You can look at the district report card and compare schools or look at each schools individual reports

I grew up in O'side and moved back now that I'm married...8 and 9 are considered the best. In all the time that I've lived here those were always the ones being thrown around...Honestly never heard of 3 and 4, but to be honest, everyone is going to say their school district is the best....

I agree, everyone has their opinions but overall I think they're all good and pretty much the same.

Me too, but I went to school 9. I think now that school 4 is open our kids will go to school 4. I think overall Oceanside is a nice district.
Jess- I am so clueless as to the different parts of Oceanside! How do you find out the different areas?

I grew up in Oceanside went to School #8 and I just bought a house in Oceanside which will be school #5.
I personally think all the schools are great.

I also grew up there and my parents had the option of sending me to 5, 3 or 9 and I went to 5 bc they thought it was the better school. In reality all the elementary schools are good and since there is only one middle school and high school, it doesnt really affect anything. When buying in oceanside I would choose where you want to live on what neighborhood you like (bc there are differences in location, house sizes, and religious affiliation), regardless of the elementary school.
