Anyone Recommend a Dentist....
that specializes in children with Autism. I have having issues with Christopher. He is CONSTANTLY chewing on his shirts. I have to change it 2-3 times a day. He is drooling a lot, and I know he has his 2 year molars. I dont know if it is sensory or something phyisical which is what i want to rule out first. We have tried everything to having him chew on soft things to crunchy foods, to even a shewy hammer. Thanks. I would prefer suffolk, but will travel.

Re: Anyone Recommend a Dentist....
We just went to Ry's first appt. We went to Kiddsmiles in North Babylon.... THEY ARE FANTASTIC! I got them from this board and they specialize with children who are special needs. They were so patient and really, really good with Ry. He had such a great time, that he can't stop talking about it! The place is so clean too.

adelberg pediatric dentists. they have offices in smithtown and in massapequa. i've only dealt with dr. erika... but i really liked her. nice place (massapequa) with lots of things to look at and play with for distractions. they have a web site so you can see some of the stuff they do.

Im not sure if I remember the name correctly...but I think his name is Dr Richard Schneider.
I used to take my daughter Ariel to him years ago..and I know he was great with special needs children.
He has an office on Main Street (25a) in Huntington right by the park...
