What is wrong with me?
Since Wednesday night I have had pains in my back (more like spasms). I hunch over because I can't stand up straight. I have cramps in my hips and on and off pains in my legs. It is time for PMS and I sometimes get back PMS BUT I have been taking Motrin, E.S. Tylenol and Ibuprofen for 3 days, sitting with a heating pad and still in pain. Thanks.

Re: What is wrong with me?
COuld you have a herniated disc?
What are the symptoms? When a herniated disc presses on nerve roots, it can cause pain, numbness, and weakness in the area of the body where the nerve travels. A herniated disc in the lower back can cause pain and numbness in the buttock and down the leg. This is called sciatica (say "sy-AT-ih-kuh"). Sciatica is the most common symptom of a herniated disc in the low back.
If a herniated disc is not pressing on a nerve, you may have a backache or no pain at all.
I had that a few years ago, in the end I needed surgery (the sciatica was constant, I could barely walk, and nothing helped it). But herniations can run anywhere from mild to severe so you may want to make an appointment with your doctor to confirm it or get an MRI referral?

Re: What is wrong with me?
Kidney stones sounds like it for the back. I had pain into my backside, but never legs. Either way a call to the doctor is in your near future I hope.

Re: What is wrong with me?
I get similar kinds of pain, but I have all sorts of back issues (scoliosis and spondylolisthesis). When my pain is acting up, I can't stand straight, I have pain in my lower back, hips, butt and legs.
I would def go see a doctor. In the meantime, try taking aleve (it's a muscle relaxer) and putting a heating pad on it.
