Grandparents Day 9/13

Hi All!! I was trying to find a cute project I could make with my 14 month old for Grandparent's day. They do much for him I wanted to do something small to let them know we appreciate them. I was thinking of maybe getting an art canvas and puting his hands in non-toxic paint and making some kind of art. What do you guys think? Any suggestions?

We made place mats once for Grandma and Papa. We put DD's handprints on colored paper with paint and printed a really cute poem and put in on as well and decorated and laminated it.

We're having DS' baby blessing on that day and I'll be giving the grandparents some framed photos of DS from his newborn photo shoot. I've been holding out showing the pics until then.

A cute garden step stone could be cute with hand or foot prints. They sell kits at most craft stores. Or you can make your own form and use regular concrete mix.

Thank you for your great ideas! I ended up getting tote bags at Walmart (three for $5) and put his hand prints on the bags for the grandmothers. I'm going to make a picture magnet for his grandfather to put on his work locker. Thanks again.

I realized today I forgot to mail out the cards for my in-laws!!!!

Their 1st gp's day and I messed up big time!!!
