Has your principal...
Ever told you that you cannot have a job chart or an incentive chart on a bulletin board? I mean where else I am supposed to put this stuff where it is in full view of all the children? Mind you, I have 10 other bulletin boards!!!! What are my rights?

Perhaps she means having it up AS your bulletin... meaning sh ewould rather see student work on a bulletin board instead, KWIM?
OR some principals may not like incentive charts in full view of any parent or other adult (a bulletin board is fair game to anyone who walks in the room) who would see that "Johnny has doesn't done his HW" or "Susie is fighting at recess" or "Jane earned more stickers than Tommy" and then spreading that info. to other parents and gossiping.

When I worked in another school I was told I couldn't have a birthday chart as well as manufactured posters on BB as well as my walls. She wanted kid's work up on there. Not sure where you work but if they say what they want on the BB I think you pretty much have to do that....perhaps ask your union rep.

I just hate all this micromanagement! I have so much work up even 5 clothelines!!! I have no wall space and I use the job chart and incentive charts everyday.....give me a break...go pick on someone else...there are others who don't have as much as I do up.

Micromanagement sucks! I also know I am not allowed to put teacher made or bought materials on an actual BB. It is annoying but I see her point and yours,..esp. if you have 10 others!
