Can someone help inspire my brain?
I have to do a Mathematics mini lesson as well as a Language Arts one for 2nd grade.
I am so clueless and have only a few ideas that I'd like some help tweeking to work.
For Math....patterning with unifix cubes
For LA...some sort of poetry lesson

Maybe for L.A, you can use the song (orginally a poem)- America the beautiful. American/patriotic poems tend to be great because you can the kids thinking about their background/culture- what they're proud of, etc.
