Re: what kind of doc..
i've asked my regular doctor about this (i have a condition where i get them often) and he says the best remedy is stretching and massage, and i get both of those done at my chiropractor's office.

Re: what kind of doc..
For a pinched nerve, I think I would go to a neurologist if my gp couldn't help.

Re: what kind of doc..
I would start at a Neurologist and go from there. It is important to find out why you have the pinched nerve before seeking treatment from a chiropractor.

Re: what kind of doc..
pinched nerves are called subluxations and the are caused by spinal misalignments and shifts. You need to go to a Chiropractor for this.

Re: what kind of doc..
i would start out with a neurologist just to make sure it isnt something serious and then they could release you to a chiropractor!

Re: what kind of doc..
definitely see a chiropractor, and yes they do accept insurance as a general rule
a neurologist is going cost a fortune without insurance for unnecessary testing....JMO

Chiro..he/she will fix you right up.
You may have to go for a few treatments though.
Yes, insurance is taken.

Exactly! I work for a chiropracter and we take most insurances; you will most likely have to go a few times

Re: what kind of doc..
I don't know where you are, but Dr. Jay in Port Jefferson is wonderful. He also has massage and acupuncture at his office. It's called Wellness, Inc.
