What kind of DR do you see...
if you want bloodwork done to rule out thryoid problems, diabetes, or a hormone imbalance?

your PCP CAN do the bloodwork - but you really should see an endocronologist - who specialized in this area - What are you looking for? Although they can treat you for any of the above mentioned - many specialize more in one area than others - some in thyroid, some in diabetes etc. So you might want to consider that when you look for an endo.

Good points. Also it may take some time to get in and meet with one so I would start with your PCP for the bloodwork and referral if you need one.
I had to get an appt for one of my client's for an endo recently and I called around to a bunch and the earliest they can get her in is not until after the new year!

Thanks so much ladies!
All 3 of those things run in my family; my GP did bloodwork in the spring but he said all my numbers were good and I'm in good health...I just know there's something thats been going on for a while and its been hard to pinpoint.
I will definitely look into an endo!!!
