Any suggestions for a good doctor that delivers at Winthroop?
Hi everyone!
I am new to the forum. I have been actually looking for a forum for Long Island for weeks.
2 weeks ago I found out I was really pregnant!! Exciting news since we planned it and it happened at our first try! We are so so happy!!.
Right now I am 7 weeks pregnant. I already had my 1st prenatal appointmet which a good doctor who has been recommended to me and I have been seeing for 2 years. However, she only delivers at South Nassau Hospital. I have research hospitals and Winthrop seems to be the good one.
Can you recommend me any good doctors that deliver there? Offices probably located around the Garden City area ??

Dr. Michael Mesbah, he delivers at Winthrop and is located in GC. 516-794-1500.
I absolutely love him!

Been going to this practice for years and love all 3 doctors! They are all male. FM if you are interested but it sounds like you want a female.

He's my doctor as well - I've been going to him for about 7 years. I absolutely LOVE him. I just had my son almost 4 weeks ago and could not have had a better experience. ( I had some issues with my induction, but it was not the doc's fault, my body just didn't respond  )

Dr Jennifer Hanauer in Garden City on Old Country Road. She is amazing! I went to a male Dr for 15 years; he actually delivered me (my mom went to him all her life also) and loved him but he doesnt deliver anymore so i never thought id find someone i felt comfy with and then i found dr hanauer. i love her!!! she delivers at winthrop.

My doctor as well. LOVE him...he is so patient and kind. Delivered both my girls....I am going through Mesbah withdrawl since I don't see him as much now

Long Island Women's Health Care Group in Mineola (right around the corner from Winthrop).
I love Dr Levine. He delivered both my children. Dr Valdarama is also very nice.

When I was in Dr. Mesbah's office today, it had a sign saying that Dr. Hanauer is the Dr. that covers for him since he pratices by himself I think... I just think that was funny b/c I saw her name on this thread... so it was comforting to know that if Dr. Mesbah can't make it for my c-section, I will still be in good hands!

ITA - but FYI when I was there today, they told someone on the phone they aren't taking any new patients.
