Looks like EJ is going to lose his last great grandparent
My grandmother went to the Dr yesterday with my mom.
Something was bothering her with her throat. He lymph nodes were all swollen on 1 side. They decided to look a bit lower and find a massive mass on the xray on her lung.
The specialist did not seem happy. He prepared her for lung cancer, chemo, etc He was not optimistic at all. She is going next Monday for biopsy and exploraty camera to "check it out". They are even talking surgery.
Anyway, my mom called yesterday late and told me that my grandmother was showing my mom when her papers were, check book. She could not stop until she explained everything to my mom.
My grandmother turned 80 about 1 month ago. My grandfather was a very heavy smoker and died in his late 60's from lung cancer. I am assuming it's second hand smoke for 50+ years.
I feel really sad for my mom. She does not want to lose her mom. The rest of her family if pretty much gone now. I can't imagine losing my mom.

I am so truly sorry to hear this. I am praying that it;s not cancer and if it is, that it can be treated. Many prayers and hugs for you and your family.
