Anyone had this procedure?

I have lower back pain, and have been to a ortho and 5 months later the Dr (who was Dr Orlin in RVC) referred me to Dr Hammer at the pain management place. Dr Orlin referred me there suggesting I would need the Epidural Streroid for herniated disks

I went today, and the dr (Dr Hammer) diagnoased my pain as arthritis, not herniated disks, and wants to follow a course of action where he will brun off some of the joint in my back.

I am now looking for a second opinion

Has anyone had experience with the practice or the procedure?

Can anyone recommend a 2nd opinion?

I heard great things about Dr Murali in Great Neck, but he does not take my insurance. I may go there anyway
