IUI
Hello ladies! This is my first post on here. I am looking into the IUI procedure and I read about it having a high risk of multiples. For any of you girls that have had the procedure or know someone who has.. can you tell me what the outcome was? Thanks so much

Re: IUI
I know someone who went through AI. I'm not sure if it was IUI or IVF. I didn't ask because it's too personal and if they wanted to tell, they would. Anyways, they have 1 from the procedure. I hope this helps.

Re: IUI
IUI itself doesn't produce multiples. Many people who do IUI's also take Clomid, which increases the # of follicles that you have (therefore increasing the # of targets). With Clomid, you have a higher chance of multiples than without it, but the chances of multiples are still pretty slim.
I had 4 IUI's. I resulted in a chemical pregnancy; the others were all BFN's. I usaed Clomid for all cycles and averaged 4 follicles.
HTH!
