Going to the Dr. UPDATED

I'm going today after work so they can check everything out I will let you ladies know what happens when I get back.

In a way, I feel relieved that I have been bleeding on my own for the past few days. But we'll see what the Dr. thinks.

Hi ladies,

So I had my appointment today and I had to say that one of the worst parts was sitting in the waiting room seeing all of these pregnant women come in for their sonograms. I wanted to just cry, but held it together.

When the nurse brought me back to a room, she goes, "ok so just here for your routine check up?" I was like "no" and then she opened my chart to see the information. It killed me to have to re-explain it all, but I did. I think she felt awful because she took my blood pressure, asked me questions and then went to take my BP again. I was like you just did. She apologized and told me that she just feel so awful for me

Then the Dr. came in and checked me out and said that my cervix was closed and then she did a sonogram and everything cleared out on its own. She told me to wait another month before TTC again. She said I had a 1 in 5 chance of MC and explained the reasons why it happens, which I already knew.

It was all just awful to be perfectly honest as I know you all know. I'm just glad it's behind me and I'm trying my best to move forward.

I thank you for your support through posts and FMs. I feel so blessed to have this support from wonderful women who I barely know. And I feel so bad that I have to hide my identity because of lurkers. Thank you for being so candid with me. I appreciate every one of you.

Ugh, I'm sorry you had to explain everything again...that stinks

I know it's rough to see all the pregnant ladies around you too. I feel like every day I find out someone else I know is pregnant. We are here if you need to talk

I'm sorry about your appt. I had a similar situation once when they brought me to a regular room and I had to explain everything....it sucks

in the scheme of m/c appt it sounds good though. It passed on it's own and you can try to heal now.

I know after I knew I was going to m/c I just wanted it to be over

Im sorry that happened I really dont understand how these situations happen, honestly, its like read the chart.

At least now its over and you can move on One cycle will go quickly and before you know it, youll be trying again!

I swear, going to the Dr. for followups or while in the midst of m/cing is the worst. It is so painful to see all of those PG woman and knowing that you were one of them.

Each day from here on out will get just a bit easier.
