Anyone know why? Endometriosis = no IUI?
I was thinking about stuff, and my doctor told me a while back that there is no point to having any IUI's done if I can't get PG on our own. She said I'd have to do IVF because of having Endometriosis. Does anyone know why? Thanks!

Re: Anyone know why? Endometriosis = no IUI?
I found this in a google search...
An IUI can help sperm bypass the cervix and make it safely to the uterus, thus increasing the chances of pregnancy. However, if endometriosis is constricting the ovaries or fallopian tubes, the woman’s egg many not reach the uterus. Endometriosis may also cover the uterus, constricting it and causing it to spasm – which can prevent implantation of a fertilized egg.
