Renting a Hall & just having pizza or a hero...

What do you think? For a Birthday Party?

Our house is too small for really having anyone over and we can afford to rent a hall but to have it catered would be too much. I would like to rent the hall just to have the space and then just have pizza or just heros and a cake.

What do you think? Cheesy?

It would just be close family and some close friends.

I think it is fine...

But maybe you could find a restaurant in your price range?

For a birthday party not at all. This is actually the exact same food I'm doing for my son's 2nd birthday party next week. I'm also doing a couple of simple dishes like a nice big bowl of salad, I'm going to do a tray of crackers and cheese, I'm also going to do a vegetable platter. I'm also making a cold tortellini pasta salad. Just saying adding some other food choices like this is a nice touch too but as for the food you're choosing not cheesy at all. They have a choice of two different food and they could even have a little bit of both. I wouldn't go crazy over this keep it simple like you have it everyone loves pizza and heros.

Ooops just read your post again...it's either pizza or heros. Either one is fine...I would throw in a couple of simple dishes on the side like mentioned.

I personally like that idea. IMO, I think the kids would have more fun in a hall instead of a restaurant because they have a bit more freedom to run and play. I think that's something I might look into for DD 1st birthday also.
