The theme of my son's first birthday party was black. Because his first birthday fell on the same day as when my brother received Phi Beta Kappa....so he was totally overshadowed and I didn't feel like giving him a first birthday party he will never remember. we gave him a lemon at the restaurant and took pictures of the funny faces he made (DS, not my brother)
I like cupcakes so if I win I'll re-enact his first birthday party sans douchey phi beta kappa brother.

the most recent party theme is Halloween. pumpkins, and orange and black. anything haloween related.

Our last party was our annual August birthday BBQ, celebrating my DH, FIL, and dad's birthdays. Our theme was cowboy western. Everyone wore cowboy hats and had toy guns. We served chili, cornbread, ribs, and beans.

the last party I had was a Mother/Daughter tea party for my Daisy Girl Scout Troop. There were 21 of us there and I served cupcakes as the dessert.

My DD's Birthday is in January and we are a planning a tinkerbell theme with fairy wings for all! DD is my tinkerbell becuase she was so tiny at birth!
