Those who read The Lovely Bones
...I saw a preview for the movie last night.
It looks pretty good... a bit weird but so was the book.
I'd be curious to see how they do with the movie...

I don't know that I'll see this movie. I loved the book, and I loved seeing her speak at the NY is Book Country luncheon a few years ago, but I have a way that I see this book in my head, and I don't know that a movie could ever really show that
(Does that make any sense? )

I loved this book as disturbing as it was.
I want to see the movie but know full well it will not come close to what the story in my head is. But most movies of books don't.
When they first announced they were making this movie they were in the talks with Lindsay Lohan about being the lead -- SOOOOOO glad that did not happen.
