Anyone else just emotionally and physcially drained??
I am sorry to be so down today. I have just been so stressed and upset lately. I honestly just get upset & cry over every little thing these days when it comes to TTC...maybe it is with this cycle so delayed again ( my emotions have been all over the place).
Then I was thinking maybe i didn't give myself enough time to heal. I def have that tough personality and tough exterior so maybe i never gave myself enough time to grieve and now I am starting to.
I feel like this month is already a waste. And that will put me on month 10 since i started TTC.
I know it doesn't seem so long with having the m.c in btwn. I also know there are many people who have even longer struggles and i can only imagine how each of you feel too. It just seems though that my dreams of becomign a mom our "So Far Away".
I think i was just so optimistic after the miscarriage thinking you are more fertile and this month would "be it". I am realizing this was not the case for me.
Sorry to vent. I think I just needed to hear "i am not alone with the way i am feeling".

Re: Anyone else just emotionally and physcially drained??
Youre not alone. There have been a few times I thought maybe I wasnt emotionally healed enough either. Things were really starting to get bad for me before the trip; I was just drained and driving myself nuts. I was starting to cry a lot too. For some reason I was really starting to let the m/c affect me all over again; it was like I was going backwards.
I have to admit, the vacation really took my mind off things. Maybe you and DH should get away for a bit? I know it sounds like a cliche but it works. My mother paid for this trip so I understand going on a week long vacation is not really feesible but maybe just a long weekend somewhere? Im not going to let myself get to that point again. God willing we will all be pregnant soon but if not, as soon as I start to feel overwhelmed and depressed Im going to just get away with DH and take a breather.

Re: Anyone else just emotionally and physcially drained??
I agree with Lisa...how bout a little trip? Maybe you and DH need to go have a little fun? I totally get where you are coming from. I broke down Saturday...I felt really hung over...got my smiley and then DH wasn't "in the mood" I lost it...I was like are you kidding?? I am doing EVERYTHING and I just need you to man up and then I cried...lol he felt soo bad. It is so stressful and it's always on the brain. no matter if you try not to have it on the brain it is...I agree w/ you that I heard so much about being so fertile after and I thought it would just happen...it seems that it doesn't and thats a huge bummer. I want to be a mom soo bad too Keeping busy is helping me. I keep making plans on the weekend...I guess subconciously its something I can control so I do...

I am going to try to keep more busy!! I know when i am out doing things with friends and family it takes my mind off of everything! Even just going to the gym helps to relieve the stress and emotions.
We will all be MOMS one day!!!!! I pray that it will be soon for us all!!!
We are going to St Thomas on vacay!

Re: Anyone else just emotionally and physcially drained??
I am feeling really down lately too. I am older than a lot of people I know who are TTC, have been TTC a lot longer, and needed "help" from an RE to even get PG in the first place. It's very hard for me to hear about other people's pregnancies. Although I'm happy for them, it's a consistent reminder of what I've lost, and that is only adding to my stress.
Hopefully it will be our turn soon, too!

I'm sorry you are feeling down too!
I must say I am so happy to have all you girls. It's nice to chat with people who are going through the same thing & understand all the different emotions that go through our minds.
It will happen for us all!!

You are definitely not alone...I can relate, especially to the part about not giving yourself enough time. I am the same way, so when it happened I was like "It's OK, it happens, I'm fine." But then like 6 weeks later I was a mess, and I was like why do I keep feeling worse instead of better?? Let yourself be sad, or angry, or whatever you need to be. I'm sorry you're feeling down...hang in there

Thanks girls- you are all amazing!!! I love that you are all there to help get through a bad day!
I am feeling much better. I went to the gym tonight and then did Pilates...and i think that helped to get out some stress & tension.

Re: Anyone else just emotionally and physcially drained??
You definitely aren't alone. I know that after my M/C, I seemed to emotionally recover after a few weeks. Then we didn't try for 2 cycles, and I was fine. Now that we started again at the end of August, I'm a mess, especially when AF arrives. This past cycle, I was so crushed to get AF, that I didn't want to go see my 1 month old niece b/c I thought I would begin crying in front of DH's whole family.
I find that these feelings come in waves. Try to keep yourself busy, and take time to pamper yourself. Let yourself cry when you need to - it's natural, and it's important to let yourself feel all of your emotions.
