EI/ABA/Autism discussion-workshop
Hey everyone - I am following through from this post to get a group together to share info on EI, ABA, Autism, etc - Sophie offered to host at her home 9thank you Sophie!!!) but then Joanna said she would be able to get space at Mid Island JCC in Plainview where she works, so we will do it there on a sunday evening - we can discuss if we wanted to meet more than one time, but I figured for now, I would put a poll together to see when everyone is available. Also feel free to use this thread to list issues you would like to discuss...

Wait? What happened? No one is interested?
ETA - So far I see 3 people for Nov 8 - and for nothing else... I will see if that might be our date!

where are you coming from? i'm western suffolk and it takes me about 20 mins w/o traffic on a sunday. the jcc is right off the expressway.

I voted for Dec. 6th.
Bry goes for an eval. on Nov. 13th.
I'll have a better idea and hopefully get answers from the developmental ped.
and see what she has to say and hopefully get an answer as to "where he falls".

OK ladies - I will have to talk to Jo (Groovypeg) for the time the JCC will be available, but since I have 6 for Nov 8, maybe we will make it for that date - BUT - since there are 2 who want Dec 6, I will see if Jo can reserve the room again for that date, and I can have one then too if that would work for everyone? I will then put the word out to see if more people want to come in December....
ETA - For ther Nov date - is 6:00 too late? There is a memorial for Dr. Carr that day that I was hoping to attend (the autism professional/professor/researcher killed by a drunk driver with his wife)
