I got a job!!!
I have been looking since January, knowing I would be graduating in May. So basically since graduationI have been out of work. It wasn't so bad, time wise, when our wedding was close (we just got married in Sept), but it def took a toll on DH and I financially.
Anyway, I had gone on an interview in June, and while the guy liked me, he was waiting to hear about his grant funding, to know if he'd have a position.
Anyway, he emailed me this week and finally has money. So I will be starting a Postdoctoral research position in december in NYC.
It's gonna be different getting used to commuting into the city everyday, but I am looking forward to it and learning lots of new things.
And now DH and I can start thinking about and saving for a house!
