Confused!

If I got a positive on an OPK 15 days ago, shouldn't AF be here already? I am positive that I ovulated. The RE did blood work to confirm, how long after you ovulate does AF take to come? I should mention that I have PCOS and sometimes AF is way off. I haven't taken a HPT yet because I have no symptoms.

You don't have to have symptoms to be pregnant !!!

A positive opk can reveal that you will ovulate anywhere from about 12-48 hours later.

LP's can range...,the rule of thumb is, if you have 18 elevated temps post O, you have a high chance of pregnancy (or a cyst). Basically meaning some LPs can be up to about 16-17 days...but most are about 14-15 days.

Thanks Michelle! Okay, I got the positive OPK on March 12 and let's say I ovulated 48 hours later which would be the 14th, that means it's 13 days later therefore I should wait to take the HPT test tomorrow or Wed? or should I take one this afternoon? My RE said to call her this week if I don't get AF by Wed. My cycles are out of wack, they are pretty long maybe 35-45 days. But if I ovulated doesn't that mean I should have AF soon?

ETA: When I went to the RE last tues which was 8dpo they did a pg test but it was negative, she said it's too early to tell.
