anyone else not able to stop thinking about getting pg?

we just started our second month of trying and i seriosuly cant stop thinking about it.
everytime i hear aan acquaintance is PG i get a little sad. if i see a pg lady im sad... what is wrong with me?

is anyone else like this. I mean its too early for me to worry. I did have a chemical last month but the doctor said its normal. (weird terminology to use if u ask me)

Your definately not alone. Getting pregnant is a big deal so its hard not to obsess about it. Im in my 2nd month also and it feels like we've been trying forever already!

yup! I think that's how most of us are... whether we like it or not. lol. I think it's just because having a baby is something important to us so it's hard not to think about it.

All the time...but I dont feel sad when I see a pregnant person or a baby I actually feel more motivated...the 2ww is the worse!!

Absolutely. DH and I constantly talk about it. Everytime we do something we talk about "next year when we come here if we have a baby we'll do it this way"...stuff like that. I have a 5 month old niece so now I have an excuse to go into the baby section at stores and I have to be pulled out by whoever I'm with. The other day I found an outfit that said "A wish come true" and I nearly cried. I just hold my niece and think about how much more special it will be when I'm holding my child.

Me! And like a few other posters, I'm in my 2nd month of trying too. I feel like it's all I think about! And since a few family members and close friends are either pg now or recently had babies, it literally is everywhere! I'm not feeling discouraged at all just yet though... it's only our 2nd month and we're just going with the flow for now! Baby dust for everyone!!!

Yup, and we're taking a break until the new year b/c of due-date issues and I feel like I think about more than ever!

Its my 1st month.

I already am thinking constantly about every little thing my body is doing and is that a "symptom"
Something I told myself or trying to convince myself not to do.

2ww is torture.

We're also in our 2nd month of trying and getting pg is ALL I can think about. And since DH and I decided not to tell anyone we're trying I've been driving him nuts with all the baby talk! for everyone!

We're in our 2nd month too and Im 8DPO and in the 2WW.

It's all I can think about because I want it soooooooo badly, we both do. But it's all I can think about because right now my job is in serious limbo (my company is about to make some cuts) and if I loose my job I'm going to making some major life/career changes and the timing for a baby might be off. And it's all I can think about because I want to think that despite all of this, I want to be able to be a good preggo and a good mom and not let it all clash.

I just want it all to work out and it's the scariest yet most exciting time right now.

Also in month #2 (wow, there are a lot of us!!) and thoughts of have totally swamped me. But the rest of this week at work is going to be slightly insane, so I'll be forced to think of other things. I don't get sad when I see a pg woman or baby, though. If anything, that's a mood lifter for me!

i should rephrase. I dont get into a sad overly jealous angry mood when i see pregnant women. I just get a twinge of sadness wishing it were me. Then i start to think about how i dont know their story.

I actually look forward to coming on here and seeing people post they got BFPs... we'll all have our turn

It is also consuming me. I overanalyze every symptom in the 2ww. I also keep thinking, this is the last Halloween without a baby, last Christmas without a baby, etc. I think someone on this board said something that ressonated with me -- if you are used to having control over everything, TTC is extremely frustrating because you really have no control.

We are in month 2 of trying also.

To say its consuming me is an understatement!!

We have been wanting a baby for a few years already but we wanted to wait until after the wedding naturally lolz.. after our wedding in July we decided to wait until January so we would be in a better place financially, but for some reason last month we both deceided we can't wait any longer. We both started working more hours to get out of debt faster, and we decided to start trying.

We don't want to tell anyone until its official and it's so hard not blurting it out sometimes...

I never knew it would be this nerve-wracking.

Me too!!!! Everytime I see a pregnant person, I cant help but stare at their belly and wish that was me

It's all I think about it too! Then I try to talk to DH and he gets stressed out and annoyed by my talking about it so much. It's really hard to take your mind off it.

unfortunately, i'm already stressing and obsessing over it and we aren't even officially ttc yet
