ttts
Hi everyone. I just joined here. I am 19 weeks pregnant with twin boys. I only hav eone placenta so Im being watched closely for twin to twin transfusion. So far the babies growth difference is 11% and the fluid levels are identical but im still worried because I know it can happen at any time. Has anyone had this scare, or even gotten ttts? Thanks ladies!

Re: ttts
We believe i had it. They watched me very closely and at 30 weeks they started growing at different rates. Every week the difference got bigger. Finally when Baby B did not grow one week and Baby A did and we were at 28% difference they induced me at 35 weeks. If the difference is constant and they are both still growing that is fine. They will just want to keep monitoring you. Good Luck!

Re: ttts
I developed this starting at 34 weeks and they finally took them at 36 weeks when the differential hit something like 30% (I don't remember the actual percentage since it was awhile ago). They monitor you really closely. I think I started having weekly dopplers and sonograms starting at 25 weeks or so. Stress tests start weekly at 30 weeks. At the end it was like my second job going to the doctor.
Both boys were born and had no NICU time.
Hang in there...it's very hard to not focus in on it. I just kept looking forward to milestones...like 24 weeks and then 28 weeks.
