Emotional Rollercoaster Part 2
Hi everyone,
I had my D&C three weeks ago after finding out I was pregnant, only to learn that there was no heartbeat. GYN diagnosed me with a molar pregnancy but after the D&C and the pathology report was done it turned out not be one...(thank god) my hcg levels are being monitored for the next six months. These past couple of weeks have been like a rollercoaster...up and down..I've learned that I can't act like nothing happened..and that I have to go through all the emotions..and eventually be at peace with myself... I don't really think people have clue how hard it is to have m/c until it happens to them..(me included before I had a m/c) It is good to know that there is forum like this....

Re: Emotional Rollercoaster Part 2
It certainly is an emotional roller coaster....even if you do try to go on like nothing happens something will happen to remind you and you are sad again This board has gotten me through so much! No one truly understands till they have gone through it. When I try to talk to my mom she worries and thinks i'm crazy when I tell her how I am feeling...but not here...here you feel completely normal and I like that.
I'm sorry for your loss

Re: Emotional Rollercoaster Part 2
I'm sorry you had to go through this too!
I agree with Jen, the PP you will def. go through a roller coaster of emotions after having going through a m/c. At first, i was pretty tough and strong and try to make sense out of why this happens. Then weeks after I had it is when i had my meltdown. It's hard and we will have high and low days. I think all of my family and friends have no clue what we go through unless they experience it. Just like every month after i TTC.... Everyone tells me to relax...stop getting so stressed. I only wish it was that easy....i try my hardest to do everything not to get myself so stressed and upset.
Anyways, sorry to babble. LOL
We are all here for you!!! This board is the best!!!

Re: Emotional Rollercoaster Part 2
I am so sorry for your loss It is definitely an emotional rollercoaster. I know I would get to a point where I thought I was fine, and then something would happen that made me feel like I was starting back at square one. It does get easier though. And everyone here is so supportive, so it definitely helps to have people to talk to

Re: Emotional Rollercoaster Part 2
You are right! It is such an emotional rollercoaster and nobody understands except people that have gone through it. People feel that they have to say something but they don't know what to say. Of course, they say the wrong thing and it makes you feel worse. And then the hormones don't help any. You are not alone. This board is great and everyone is so supportive.

It definitely is an emotional roller coaster and very much like you said- you don't know and can't imagine what it feels like until it happens to you. It's awful. It totally took over my brain and heart.
As days pass, you will find peace and you will heal. Take as much time as you need and know that this forum and all of us are here for you.

Im so sorry for your loss
You came to the right place though for comfort and support. All the girls on this board are amazing and I feel so blessed to have them in my life.
You need to take as much time as you need to grieve. Sometimes you will have good days, sometimes you will have bad. All of that is normal and we can all relate to the roller coaster of emotions
Feel free to ask any questions or vent away on here!! You can always FM me too if you need
