It's over...ok, omg july baby was me...
had brown spotting earlier, freaked out and called doctor. went in for transvaginal sono. there is a sac, but no fetal pole. it just stopped developing. i will probably bleed it out, or i will have to have a d&c. i am heartbroken. i'm seven weeks. or, i was. it's called a blighted ovum. we are devastated....thank you for the well wishes.
It was me, Lana...aka Lanabean. There's not really much point in hiding. Our close friends know what happened. I don't really have any family/friends on here, so whatever. I would rather post my questions going fwd under my real name, not this one. We spent all night crying; this happened so fast. None of the classic signs of miscarriage, and I'm still not truly bleeding. I have to go today as awful as this is for HCG to be sure the numbers are now going down, a sono next week, and a d and c if I don't bleed everything out. Why is nature so cruel? thanks to all for the feedback; i haven't been on here in forever because i teach yoga full time, and my teaching schedule has basically kept me away from a desk setting. hopefully i can join you again in several months. But it's like, so what--even if your HCG numbers climb and your progesterone looks great--THIS can still happen? and in the back of my mind, I wonder, can there be some error?

The same thing happened to me in July; baby stopped growing at 7w1d. I had a d&c.
