Do you know any MD's that work with midwifes?

I am contemplating in changing my ob since she does not deliver in Winthrop and only in South Nassau...which I am not so sure about.
This is my first baby and I would like to have a natural birth with no epidural. I used to live in the city where is more common, but I not sure about Long Island.
I would like to deliver at Winthrop with midwife and doctor. Is that the way they do it here? In Manhattan they have birthing centers like Saint Luke's but I am new to having a baby so I don't have much info.

I see Melanie Sumersille at Garden City OB, she's a certified nurse midwife. I've heard nothing but great things about her from other women on these boards, and I love her! She delivers at Winthrop and works with Dr. Seth Plancher. FM me if you want details.
