I think i'm back

I'm 5w4d today and lately I've been having a lot of CM (which i hear is normal for pregnancy). Last night though, there started to be a small tint of color in it (kinda pinkish). This totally freaked me out, of course. But I still wondered if it was okay. I hear coloring in CM can be somewhat normal in early pregnancy.

This morning though, it's red and heavier and I'm feeling AF like cramping. I took a pregnancy test just to see and it still came back POSITIVE so i'm at all loss. I really think that I lost it - it's the only explanation for the bleeding. But I'm going to go have some bloodwork done later today and get my Hcg level. The last time i got it done was on Monday (and everything was normal then), so I guess if the numbers go down then I'll know. If it's still going UP then I'll have to have a visit with the doctor to make sure everything's alright.

Please say some prayers for me, ladies. This is really tough. I definitely thought this was it! I am at such a loss right now!!

And on another note - is there a special doctor I should be seeing after 2 miscarriages? Has anybody else experienced more than one? My only saving grace right now is that at least it happened early on.

Hang in there! Spotting is fairly common in early pregnancy. Everything may still be OK!

It's true...I definitly heard that women spot! So it may be nothing! Try to stay positive and good luck at your appt!!!

It's more than spotting though. It's enough that I HAVE to wear a pad. But I'm still going to have the HCG levels checked out... just in case. I'm trying to stay positive, but at the same time prepare myself for the worst. It's that horrible middle ground that I'm sure we've ALL been in before.

hang in there; pink doesn't sound so bad....i'm not sure if this helps, but my spotting was brown. the transvaginal sono showed blighted ovum, but i am still not really bleeding and am having hcg levels checked. another sono next week....so i'm in that awful wait even though i think i already know how it will go. this has never happened to me.
i hope everything turns out ok for you; please let me know. you are so early, it could be nothing. you're too early for the transvag; at 5 weeks, you would only see the sac. i think your levels will be more telling. good luck.

Do not think the worst!! This could still turn out to be alright. I have heard of women bleeding in the first trimester

Im honestly so upset for you right now Try to stay calm and positive and keep us posted with the blood work results!!

Hang in there! I know that your mind is going crazy right now, but I have heard that women sometimes bleed during the early stages of pregnancy. The face that the test is still saying pregnant is a good sign! Good luck at your appointment today!

Hang in there hun! Bleeding can happen in the first trimester, it's your body getting rid of left over blood. I really hope all is well, please keep us updated, and you'll be in my prayers

When I mc I bled, but brown for weeks. I HATED when everyone told me that bleeding isn't uncommon during PG so I won't tell you that. What I will tell you is my blood was brown & that I'm thinking of you and wishing you the best

i had cramping and bled a considerable amount when i was a few weeks along and i now i have a healthy 16 month old, dont give up yet

spotting is totally normal...

has the doc tried to do a sono to see what going on?

i had spotting early in week 5 and went to the doc on 5w6d, as i was standing at the front desk i started gushing...and i mean gushing...bright red blood, even heavier then AF! they did a sono and i had blood in my uterus but goober was fine. i'm 10w2d now and (knock on wood) goober is doing great! all the bleeding and spotting is gone.

this is my 3rd pregnancy in 2009...i had a loss around 7-8 weeks in april and another around 5-6 weeks in june. i'm just seeing my normal OB, no need for a different doc for me.

hang in there and keep us posted.
best thing you can do (even though it's hard) is to stay as stress free and postive as you can.
