spina bifida
i was supposed to go get the blood test done a couple weeks ago and have been sidetracked with my aunt being in hospital and passing away and now being sick with strep.... i havent gotten to go get it done and now i don tknow if its too late. do u girls know what or if theres a time limit to get it done?

I don't think there is. Call your OB tomorrow and ask. I am sure you can still get it.

They called me back to take mine. I went when I was 14 weeks and they said they would take the blood to test but then they called me and said it was too early. I'm going in on Monday. (16w4d)
I think 16 weeks is the prime time for that test.

I can't remember the set weeks, but I believe the AFP bloodwork for spina bifida is from 16 weeks to 20 weeks or so.
ETA: just googled it and this is what I found:
Screening is usually performed by taking a sample of the mother's blood between the 15th and 20th weeks of pregnancy (16th to 18th is ideal)
So I'm sure you could go tomorrow to get the blood drawn and you should still be in the range.
