crib help

Hello All- I am expecting twins in March. I am starting to realize that 2 cribs will not fit in the bedroom that we will be using for the babies. (we have our condo on the market so we can get a bigger place). Does anyone know of any space saving cribs? I do not want the babies sharing a crib. Thanks!

Re: crib help

You can try round cribs-I think they may fit in small spaces better

Re: crib help

There are portacribs. They are smaller than a crib and you can use them for a few years.

Re: crib help

I have a small nursery and we were just able to fit 2 cribs but its so tight in there. Each crib is huge so you can probably getaway with putting them both in the same crib for a long time till there 6-8mons maybe longer depending how big they are.

Maybe by the time they need there own crib you'll have been able to sell you condo and then put 2 up in the new place.

Re: crib help

My babies are in the tiniest bedroom ever, we never thought two cribs would fit in there.
They were in the same crib for awhile, and then when they started moving, e arwe realized we couldn't do that anymore, and somehow, we got both cribs in there.
They are right next to each other, and overlap each other a little bit, but they both fit.

I do think there are smaller cribs out there though - check out the cribs at ikea - they are pretty basic, my friend has one and it doesn't look like it takes up too much room.
