NPR-What is everyone doing for Thanksgiving?
I love hearing what everyone is up to!
AFM-DH and I are headed to Orlando for Thanksgiving/Babymoon.
We leave tomorrow night! We are going to DH's old friend for Thanksgiving, which is so much fun, and they cook sooo good!
I am baking tomorrow for Thanksgiving. Pumpkin Bread and Nutella Poundcake (Thanks Hayley!)
We are extending our trip to do Downtown Disney and some other things.

Re: NPR-What is everyone doing for Thanksgiving?
We are having Thanksgiving at BIL & FSIL's apt. MIL & FIL are coming down tomorrow afternoon. I am just happy about not having to cook, and not having any house guests. I am sad that this will be my first Thanksgiving without my parents. As we live down in DC now. DH has work Friday, and so does my dad so we couldn't work something out. I am glad to know my parents will be with my aunt & uncles so they won't be alone. Not looking forward to a holiday with the in-laws minus the alcohol. And with my poultry aversion this should be interesting. I am going to make cookies tomorrow.

Re: NPR-What is everyone doing for Thanksgiving?
We are having pasta at MILs house, and turkey at my parent's house. We will make the announcement to the extended family that will be there (it will only be on aunt and uncle from each side, but it will still be fun!)

DH used to be a hospital nurse and I remember him having to work many a holiday but he said they used to make the best of it.
We're going to my aunt's house as we do every year. My entire extended family goes and its my absolute favorite holiday
The celebrating continues for us all weekend as we have a birthday party at our house for DH on Fri night and Thanksgiving annual cousins night out on Sat in the city

Re: NPR-What is everyone doing for Thanksgiving?
Going to my moms and doing our big announcement during dessert. Can't wait.
Then we do it all over again on Sunday with DHs family since MIL is Jehovah witness and doesn't celebrate Thanksgiving but does a family turkey dinner on Sunday.

Re: NPR-What is everyone doing for Thanksgiving?
I'm being relieved DH doesn't have to work and eating at mom's house for dinner.
Probably going to pop in on the in-laws and bring them some pastries. Like to they do to me, but they never bring anything good

Re: NPR-What is everyone doing for Thanksgiving?
I'm hosting and cooking my first full meal!
Going to season the turkey tonight (or brine it). Tomorrow I'm making creamed spinach and prepping the sweet potatoes. Thursday cooking the turkey and making all the other sides.
Hopefully it turns out yummy and people enjoy the food! If not, well, hopefully they'll just enjoy the company.

We are hosting just my parents---I am not up for traveling (we live far away from family) and my sisters would have come but they are saving their extra days to come visit once the baby is here!

Lucky you! BIL made a snarky comment to DH that if I don't eat Turkey, what am I going to eat?
