spinoff from puffs: toddlers and raisins?
Im terrified of AJ choking on things (see my post reply on puffs thread)
She's such a good girl though. She chews her food, eats rice, meatloaf, etc.
Im still frightened to give her bananas, and raisins. I dont think bananas desolve enough and im absolutely petrified of raisins.
Someone get me over this fear. I have regular and golden rasins at home.

when in doubt, wait it out, even if it means you can relax
i'm still wary of peanut butter for my 22 month old..so i spread it super super thin

If you're worried don't do it...bannanas DD has been eating forever, it's one of the only fruit she'll eat but raisins would be wary of as well

Re: spinoff from puffs: toddlers and raisins?
DS is 17 months and I don't give him raisins by themselves. I've read they are a choking hazard and I am not that eager to try them. He has had raisin bread and bagels though since they are cooked in them and softer, although sometimes he gets an entire one and spits it out anyway! DS has been getting bananas for the longest though, long before he had teeth...just cut really small pieces. They'll mush really easily.

Re: spinoff from puffs: toddlers and raisins?
bananas are a staple with ds... but raisins we do not even have in our household... they are extremely toxic to dogs so be prefer not to have them in the house as a personaly preference.. but since ds gagged on a grape i think i would hold off on the raisins
