anyone else have the LED christmas lights?
DH and I spent a lot of $ this year to buy the LED lights....he got on the roof and put them up, and i don't like them! I feel like they have a blue tint to them!! I like the old regular white lights that have a yellow tint to them better! Oh well....there is NO way I am making DH get back up there to take them down...so I guess we will have to deal with these from now on!

I hate them too.
We did buy some colored one's last year from Lowe's, they are medium size globes and change color and they aren't bad because the outside is not clear.

I have LED net lights outside. They do look a bit blue, and they do affect my eyes, especially if I move my head. It saves money and electricity, so I'll put with with them...

I think the blueish ones are cool white vs warm white...I have LEDs that don't hurt my eyes...but I like the blue ones better anyway! Sorry!

we purchased the white lights last year - and yes, the look more purple than white. but this year we also got the multi-colored leds and mixed with the white. looks much better imo!!!

I HATE them, DH bought them two years ago and we've since replaced them. I liked my Xmas lights to be white not a weird blue tint.

I have them. They are OK.....the fact that I can plug 80 of them in one line and they use like hardly any electric I will use them and be fine with it.

same with us, we bought them last year and i hate then, we didnt put them back up. i like the regular white lights with the yellowish/white light. HATE the LEDs

We bought them, put them up and took them down. I don't like them at all. Too bright for me. I'm sure it's something that will grow on me but for now the old csoft olorful lights are up

Target has the LED lights in warm white.... maybe that would be better?
we did the LED's too - not the warm white - but the BRIGHT white...we've got a techo dance club aura goin' on! Yeah it's bright - we wear sunglasses @ night and have had a near miss with a few small aircrafts trying to land on our lawn - but its all good - we are sporting the Christmas spirit!

I hate the "warm white" colored lights... they look so OLD and DATED... it's like having a black and white tv! Give me the "cold white" tint ones anyday.

Can I be honest? I saw the LED lights on my neighbor's house and it reminded me of the lights on a convenience store. I'm just not a fan of them. Maybe I'm just not used to them

I got the Philips ones from Target. I have the warm white ones and they dont look blue. I have some colored ones too that look ok

I like the colored ones but the white look just blue to me, not even a tint, just blue. They look bad.
they're also all really small.
