If you have or do go to the Chiro for neck or back pain
how long did it take until you felt some relief?
I hurt my neck on Friday by just turning it to the side. I hurt it in the past and of course I once you hurt your spine, it just is never the same.. well this time, it's not going away. I can barely turn my head at all and the pain is radiating into my head and its unbearable at times.
I broke down and went to the Chiro last night because I just can't take it anymore... he did some heat therapy and adjustments and I felt great this morning, but now its all back again.
I know its an individual thing, but I really don't want to get sucked into going 3x a week forever.. the copays will kill me.

I found that the multi times a week I went to the Chiro was a pain in the butt however those sessions actually trained my body to align itself after a while.
Sorry you are suffering.
I would negotiate with the office about co-pays. My gf did and she pays half of what they would normally take as her co-pay.
Good luck and I hope you feel better soon.

Have you gone to a specialist to determine the cause of the pain and see what he/she recommends? That would be my first step. I'd start with an Orthopedist and see if you need a Neurologist if it's a nerve issue. Feel better!

Agreed. As someone with chronic back problems, I love the chiro, BUT I only go to one after I've been properly diagnosed by an orthopedist.
Feel better!

definitely agree!!!
for me the horrifying pain radiated down my arm into my hand. I wound up having a pinched nerve compressing my spine that required surgery!!!!!
Feel better!!!

My friend who is a chiropractor explained that's the reason for the 3x a week thing. It's often in cases where it's a severe & chronic issue
