What can I do on Christmas?

I'm Jewish. This December 25 is just a Friday off from work for me. I would love to do something to help make someone else's Christmas special- like volunteer at a soup kitchen or give out toys. I'd LOVE to do something with my three year old DD, but I could also do something alone.

Any ideas where I could find someplace that needs volunteers on Christmas? I live in the Manhattan.

i think any sort of soup kitchen or homeless shelter would need help. you can probably find them via google or a local church/synagogue might know.
