Why couldn't this blizzard come on a SUNDAY NIGHT?!!
Ugh!! 
I think even Bloomberg would cancel schools for this one!

It is pretty bad in the city.....It already takes me 45 minutes+ to get to work and now add this, I am going to scream!
The crazy part is that kids won't come in, so we will be left with these 1/2 classes to teach!

We would have had to wait until 6 am or something ridiculous like last year for him to call the day. So I'm glad it didn't come on a Sunday night!

If this came last night, I am sure he would close. The streets werent even plowed. He closed last year when it was deserving. I have to say, the long island schools close for no legit reason sometimes and its because the buses say they are NOT going out. I do not want to defend him but 99% of the time I agree the schools should remain open. I commute hours each day to get to the city.
Today, I breezed to work and 100% of my kids are present today!
Anyway, my point, if yesterday was today he would have had to close the schools just like last year.
