? about gift card gift for kids to share...
Do you think it is ok to send a $25 gift card to share. They are 3 kids under 9. With so many other kids in the family it gets harder and harder and we want to send a little something to everyone. If the GC it is to Barnes and Noble or Itunes that is not too bad right? The kids will each be able to get a little something.....or as a parent would you find that really is not enough?

In this economy, you give what you can afford to give It's a completely acceptable gift to give, IMO!! As a parent, I am grateful for ANY gift received for my children -- I never think "oh what a cheap gift", that's horrible.....

I would be more inclined to send separate gift cards - like 3 $10 gift cards/certificates for B&N or Amazon (unless you know all 3 have ipods/use itunes, I would skip that).
It not that I think $25 isn't enough, I just like each child getting their own gift.

I think the amount is fine but I would either give them their own gift card/cash ($10 each?), give them a game or movie they can all enjoy or work out something with the parents to pick up something for them.

Ditto
In the end it would be best to send 3 cards with equal amounts, vs one card in an uneven amount for them to split.

Splitting the card would have been a good idea. I bought numerous cards at CVS and they only came in increments of 25.....so unfortunately that is what I have to send. Good thought though...I should have went to B&N and gotten 3 $10 cards. Oh well...there is always next year.

barnes & noble has board games & card games--so maybe their parents can guide them into getting a game all 3 will play.
I'd go for that over Itunes for that situtation.

I agree. If they want, then they can combine them to get something.

I was going to say "sure" and I still think it's fine, but I do like the above idea a little better, so they can each pick up something for themself.
